hucks a 2oz jig pretty nice
i regularly throw LARGE wood with it, and tuns of small stuff too.
if you got it spinning you could do rigged sluggos perfectly. if you did an abu 6500 instead of the 7000 you could manage. tossing slugs with a 7000 was tough for me.
its an awsome rod.

I second that choice, but go 1089 if you are going to the breachways;
as far as the dorm goes; it can be tough but I managed to keep my rods in Heathman when it was open (a few years back)

Even though they are 100% graphite I can strongly reccomend the 1145/2, I have two of these one conventional and one spinning. They are geat blanks. The Allstar's are no longer produced but you may be able to still find one. I hope Rainshadow comes out with the 1145 so far they do not have a 9'6" blank.

already have a croix 3/4-4 and a pac 2-6 so all set w/ graphite
any thoughts on a lami MB1083m-2 maybe cut a lil from the tip to stiffin it up a bit.
