It's going to be kind of a crappy turkey day for me,
I'll be recovering from surgery.
Wife is taking the kids to relatives house for the day.
So it will be me and the dog home all day.
On the bright side, should be a nice QUIET day!!!

Going to my in-laws on the East End of Long Island. 4 days of fishing the east end beaches of Long Island and Montauk- thats the tradition.

I will be bird hunting with my father in the am, and then it's home to help the bride with the dinner. We have guest like every other year.

Thanksgivings' always been a big day for us.
Traditionally, we've always started the day with BlackFishing aka Tautogging. We arrive on the rocks at pre-dawn...start off with a toast to good health and a fun day....and tog for a few hours.
After that, we head home and a different group already has some old hockey nets up and from ages 8 and up, we have a clean/fun deck hockey game...normally at the local tennis court. Then it's off to the showers and CHOW DOWN.
Makes for a GREAT afternoon nap...then waking up to the cowboys gettin an *$$ whippin, it just don't get better than that...
