The Bruins are just trying to uphold their longstanding reputation for being the most mis-managed, pitifully run organization in Boston.....not to mention that they have not won anything of note since 1972!!! This move should go a long way towards keeping them firmly planted in the cellar of the NHL for quite a few years to come......nice work Sinden and O'Connell....you guys should be hung up by your brain stems but they might snap anyway due to the fact they are not anchored to anything substancial!

they were one of best positioned teams after the lockout, lots of talk about building a contender. o'connell completely blew a great opportunity- randon moronic signings. sullivan's a nice guy and all, but he does'nt command the respect of his veteran players.

If anyone should be gone from this team it should be Oconnell, and Sinden. These 2 A holes are the ones who put everything on the back burner till a new collective bargaining agreement came out. They are the ones who kept insisting we were gonna be in better shape than the rest of the league. They are the ones who screwed everything up.

I can't think of a single other person in sports who got more mileage out of less achievement than Harry Sinden.
He won one Cup with a team that should have been a dynasty He was GM for their second. Whoop-de-damn-do. Easily could have been 5 in a row and it should have been.

I agree with most about the bruins management. I don't like them. jacobs and o'connell sullivan's an ahl coach at best. you just can't deny that the b's didn't spend all of there money trying to improve. the players didn't respond they have sucked. thornton looked hurt or disinterested, in this new style league he should have been taking the puck to the net. crashing it every shift, instead he would rather pass and hide behind net. I went to two games and watched almost all of them. to lose more than a handful of games in the third period the way they have isn't a management problem.its the players giving up. I think the b's will get more out of the 3 players than they will with Joe. He never should have been the captain.I also think its not the last deal either. I just think the b's were under pressure to spend money to attract fans and they just paid the wrong players.
