I heard on the radio today it's to "help" them get out of Chapter 11
So, they'll probably drive a few people into chapter 11, helping themselves out of it.... Also, when they do get out of bankruptcy, I bet the rates won't go down.I remember right before they went into chapter 11 the execs voted themselves pay and pension raises, a day before they froze the workers salaries and bennies... yep corporate thieves... I don't think the windmaill factor is too strong, they have already said that the all the proposed windmills alone wouldn't be enough to power the cape and islands, I think it's just greed, plain and simple. NSTAR, Mirant, execs of both, all thieves.

I ain't 100 % on it, just thought it might be worth a look...
I have my doubts on the pricing, think it's old info on the website, will try and call them tomorrow.. if I read it right, it's 1.5 cent per KW higher, so the 8.3, or 8.9 cent price, would be based on the old rate..... but you get the tax write off
onshore, buy your gas in Harwich or Chatham, always 20-30 cents cheaper than Orleans or Eastham, that is still a mystery to me.
