Any advise for a person who wants to start tying his own but never has.Like is there a basic starter kit I should buy complete with decent vise
Attend tying meetings at UFT. With the beginners programs you don't even need to have your own tools or materials. It's a good place to start -wish they were around when I was young.
These Might not look like shrimp to us, but the fish certainly think they are. They look amazingly alive in the water, They are steelhead flies and look even better when tied with spey hackle. One of my most productive flies this year.
