I agree
Batson Rainshadow 1088
but if you want something lighter, get the 1087, it handles 1-3 oz and weighs very little.

The 1088 is a very versitile rod, 1-4 oz and has enough backbone. It will toss bombers to pikies to poppers. When I am hunting fish with a 9' rod, that is what I use.
The 1087 is great for smaller fish but can handle a big fish on the sand if you handle it right.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Just don't overload that rod! do a search in the rod building forum for a post I had about "Batsons breaking" Killed a pile of them one year.
