And, Mugz... Right on all others (Aerosmith hasn't made a great song in 14+ years!)...
But re. Floyd: mainstream (& other) radio plays 6 Floyd songs over & over, ad nauseam! Agreed! But 95% of their greatest music, no ones' ever heard! (On mainstream radio, anyway!)
PLEASE listen to/ try: (for instance):
--"Meddle" (all) ... --"Wish You Were Here " (every song)... "Animals" (all of it!)... --"The Wall" (every song on first 3 sides anyway, except "Another Brick Pt. 2!")... "Atom Heart Mother" (esp. side 2) --"The Final Cut" (all). THEN you will understand why to their fans: there's Pink Floyd, then everyone else in music history!  Enjoy! |
