I grew up in my grandfathers repair shop from the time I could walk and I has very fortunate to have access to lots of my grandfathers hot rods (Mostly Mopars) and I owned a bunch also!
And back then the laws were very different with shop Repair plates, that it was normal to drive a different car every week!
A few of favorites that my grangfather owned and I got to drive !

1957 Chrysler imperial 2 dr (what a beautiful car !!! )
1968 Dodge super bee
1970 AAR Cuda (lime green & flat black)
1969 Camaro SS
Lots of 65 - 70 mustangs
1962 Willys pick up

some I owned
1968 AMX
1968 Mustang
1968 Camaro rs
1976 Corvette
1978 Corvette
1971 Pinto (with a 302 & 3 speed from a 65 mustang)
1973 Pinto (with the same 302 after I put the 71 into a tree )
1962 Willys pick up (did a frame off restoration to it after my grandfather passed away, drove it for 7 years then sold it for big $$$
I still miss it every day !!!

I had a "71" Chevy Monty Carlo Fastest car I ever drove, I blew the engine out running a state cop, I sold it to a body shop for parts

Right now I own a "73" Chevy Caprice Classic Convertible, It's a sleeper.

First car was 66 Mustang auto 289 V8 with factory air! (Mom still thinks I wrecked my knee in the back seat )
72 vette did tons of glass work, ribbons and fade-into color paint, show car
82 Mustang GT w/ the American 4-speed box. (5-speed was a German design with 5th in the over and DOWN position!?!?) friggen ass magnet, that 5.0 was the quickest stock street car of it's day. Sucked in snow.
Had a 48 Indian, goes that count?

When I was 15 my dad bought me a pretty solid 67 Chevelle SS with a 402 BB, 4 speed, 12 bolt. I found it in a backyard in Spencer and did some body work to it at shop class in school. I kept it for two years, drove it around the backroads illegally and then sold it for a new 1986 Buick Regal T-Type. I wish I had both those cars now. What an idiot I am.

Never personnaly owned a cool car (always had 4x4's) but in my early to mid teens my dad was buying and selling nostalgic cars anything from 67 Nova2's to 70's Chevelles, was a big fan of Corvettes my all time favorite Vette was a 67 Convertible, 427 BB with side exhaust matching #'s car today worth well over 100K 2nd had to be the 67 Emerald green Nova 2 that was featured in Super Chevy and won best in show @ world of wheels everytime we entered. I envy you guys who grew up in that era those were some kickazz cars. When I have tons of expendable cash one day I would like a 69 Yenko Camaro but would settle for an RS/SS Yellow with Black racing stripes

When I went to college in 1975 I purchased a 1973 camero from my dentist. It had a 454 block and was in great shape. I was making a ton of cash clamming at the time during the summer and I poured a lot of it into my car...which seemed cool at the time but was really not the best move I ever made. This was an engine that was strangled in pollution control crap that prevented it from doing much of anything when stock. Once you got all that junk off it had some impressive performance. Anyway I had the entire vehicle re-built as a street rod. The engine was sent out and came back looking awesome, lots of alum and chome, the interior was re-done in ultra swade and leather. (at the time it was cool) and the audio system was amazing. Wide tires and cregger chome wheels headers, tuned exhaust and a deep matallic blue imron paint job with several coats of clear of made this my babe machine thru college. It would snap your head back and pin you into your seat. Just starting it up was a thrill. The torque was amazing. I have photos but they are on film and I would have to scan them. I kept the car until I moved to northern VA as it was not practical in a city, it could not make it over a speed bump without bottoming. I sold it to my sisters boyfriend who had coveted that thing for several years. I had two vehicles back then this one and a 1977 Land Crusier for surf fishing.....those were the days... I have a photo someplace that has a hot blonde in short shorts and a bikini top with half her A$$ exposed bending over my car with a naughty smile...but my favorite is a different girl in helly hansons and a surf rod next to the Land Crusier who later became my wife. Next time I am up in the attic looking for old photos, I'll dig it out. Yes....those were the days of hot cars, blondes in short shorts, not to mention the average block Island bass back then was 36#!!!!

Gotta run, wife needs me to take out the trash

I had an 88 jeep wrangler, did it up nice. I was off-roading and drove into a pond, swam out of it, pulled it out with a truck, and drove it home. I had to give it up after the electrical issues started. I had some other cars since then but just bought an 04 wrangler to relive the good memories.
