You guys will do well. I have no doubt whatsoever. I am sorry I can't join ya. I will be there in the fall.
The barges are an easy spot ( there is something left to stand on but not much) and the channel is also very productive.
IMO don't overlook the northeast corner...on your chart where is says "whale rock". From the sandy beach, walk east thru the rocks till you see a gazabo...fish that cove. For me, the large haps and yozuri mag plugs clean up in that cove every night I fished it last fall.
Also, you got to work the entire beach along the southwest side around to the point.
Expect to do a lot of hiking.
You may want to consider the following:
A) A backpack
B) breathable waders
C) quality hiking boods
D) Cell phone (the vineyard towers are reachable and a saftey whistle (incase you break you leg)
E) a ATV or better yet a Helecopter with infrared cameras and sonobouys for finding fish.
BTW, the place is dry...byo
here are 2 pics I took last sept. the barges and a typical cove on the sw side.
have fun and I look forward to reading and seeing some Large results.....
