couple of questions about paint & sealer..

val oil/turpentine...50/50.. i seal alot of hardwood.. NO to oderless mineral spirits as a thinner... I let soak 24 hrs. submersed.. dry when you can take a piece of 220 sandpaper to it and raise dust ... If your making a totally sealed plug (lefty) you have to let it dry much longer to dry out innards .. before closing all the doors ..

Tagger, why no to odorless mineral spirits? I just bought some VAL-OIL and odorless MS. I have not mixed them yet and will hold till' I get more advice. Glad I saw this before I did something I would regret.

i'm not a chemist.. just told by a smart guy that turpentine is a natural product and mineral spirits is man made and the 2 combine better...
