We used to have an Adult Pinewood Derby the night before the kids race...got all of the competitiveness out of the parents so they could just sit back and enjoy the race w/ the kids the next day. worked pretty well.
It was always a blast, we'd get together setup the track then get out the cooler, order some pizzas and race. Made for a great night.
You weren't alllowed to use your kids car you had to make your own under the same guidelines that the kids used. |
