As far as the editors letter I thought Chris Megan missed the point of all the discussion we had here on the site in regards to Steve McKennas article......most were upset about the pressure that would be put on those spots in regards to litter, illegal parking, noise and the possibility of losing access to these spots due to the over exposure. Just my .02 cents. I thought it was a fine letter none the less and its good to see they hear us. Great issue this month and I still have lots to read still....back to fireside now!

When Steve got his copy of the map for "phantom beach" we looked at each other and laughed, it looks just like a spot on our shore
Havent got my copy yet but cant wait to see just how close everyone is in the way they would fish it-or- how far apart....

And it's remarkably similar to a spot I fish in Maine, spots are pretty similar.

The Phantom Beach being remarkably similar is no accident, and just goes to show how you can teach generically about many different spots without burning them, let's hope they keep it that way. I don't need someone to tell me where to fish, but if they want to offer their insite on how fish a piece of structure a certain way when I encoounter it, then I am all ears.

I saw the post this morning and got all excited about getting to the post office to get my copy. I went to the PO 3 times today thinking that maybe they hadn't gotten to my box yet. Now I have to wait at least another day. AAAAAARRRRRGHGHGHGHGHGH!!!!! I don't get on the net much these days, so I really look forward to the end of the month. The hardest part is making it last a couple of days.
