Tough to do from the beach Mike. If eels aren't on the endangered list by then, it would have to be a live eel. I used to do the Osterville Anglers Club education series and had for years ( I used to do nothing but Saltwater Flyfish, don't hate me) run seminar series for eight weeks each year starting in January till April and when someone would ask me what was the best way to catch a big bass (meaning on a flyrod) I would tell them to put the flyrod away, get a ten foot conventional and some nice big lively sled dog eels!!!!!  |
