give it a try steelhead, I've layered paints, it's a fine line, you can't go to heavy with the black, but, you get some nice subtle hints show thru.. do them all while they are wet
I've done a blurple/gold on needles, with a green/blue haze.. looks like eel skin in the water

I've done it with a silver or gold over a solid color. The solid colors I've found to be harder to control.

I'm looking for alternatives to epoxy and that two part clear sounds interesting. If you don't mind sharing, what is it? How well does it hold up? How bad is it for your health?
