Rhody Leg teams....
This seems to be a good time to get people grouped up for the Rhody Leg. Not to have teams formed up to compete against each other because we do like to keep it a little low key but we should have people group up based on different tastes of angling - and just how long people might want to stay out.
How should we team up and any volunteers? Oh yeh, we can have more than one chunking team of pluggin' & eelin'.
Just a few ideas -
Chunking:
Plugging & Eeling:
Korkered Plugging & Eeling:
F.F. - if anyone is doing so over the weekend:
Breachways - Korkered:
Beach plugging:
Long Walk - Korkers (only for the hard core ):
There also some great spots to fish down there from:
Watch Hill & Naps
Weekapaug beach/Misquamicutt
Any of the 3.5 Breachways
Weekapaug Poing
East/Central Beach - FPR
Matunuck/Deep Hole area
Galilee
Pt Judith
'Gansett
Points north & east...

I'll be chunking, throwing plugs and maybe eeling on the beach....no korkers, long walks or rock hopping for me....I have John's other two bad knees....
Have a particular spot I'm thinking of....just gotta double check on parking this time of year......
I'll be doing it as long as I can till I get tired......then I may nap and start again, or nap and head home....
So, yer welcome to follow....but be warned.....I still got some bad MoJo going.......

Never made the long walk but would love to. Have Korkers will travel.....
I would also be interested in anywhere that doesn't force me to pay a toll..... It's a Rhody thing.

If I were going to attend it would be plugs and eels for me. June 8th is the start of my week long fishing vacation in Orleans!
Hope you guys have a great time, and am looking forward to the next leg.

I haven't even got plans for tomorrow, let alone the weekend, crazy week. I'm not even sure where this thing is, whos going, I haven't even read any posts so I don't know if anything is needed for the food/drinks. John send me an email on the directions and advise if I need to throw something together.

GS could you bring to bags of that special slug you made for the place with the rippin currents. I would like the dark color. Oh yeah feel free to bring the jigs for that special place if you have them.

Matoonoc and I will be throwing eels into a couple of breachways east of the cookout. Maybe have some steamers leftover for chum(not!).
