You mean to say that I may see those plugs before Septober?
If you guys are going to the Island Fling maybe you want to ride over with me.
I won't charge you much for transporting you over, or back.
Sure you can leave your plug bags on my boat while you go park your car, every thing is safe with me!

Are they going to be ready for the Rhody Leg? I have one of the first prototypes, white with pink stripe, that I bought at the MSBA show. I can't force myself to use it because I'm scared to lose it. With extras in my bag, don't worry I'll use them. Maybe I'll use it this weekend if I know more will be available soon .
Hey Tattoo - Are you going to bring order forms to the Rhody leg for those that might want to order those "special" Habs plugs. I've got 4 ordered already from the MSBA show and could see myself ordering some more if you show up at the leg this weekend.

The word on the street....
In case some were wondering;
No, they will not be ready for this weekends Rhody Leg, and I can't make any promises about them being ready for the Cutty trip either. It all depends on the new finish....how long it takes to dry, etc etc etc....
If you missed the MassBass show, you will be able to view the darters, and other "Elite Edition" ( thats what they are called ) plugs at the 30th Anniversary Bash at Quaker Lane Bait and Tackle this weekend. Hab will be there Saturday and Sunday, I'll probablly be roaming around as well.
Yes, I will bring order forms this saturday for those of you that wish to order. You can order with John at his booth at Quaker Lane as well. The price is $20 each, and they are going FAST!!!!!!!
This is the first batch of 100 plugs, and at the moment, there are about 50 sold. So if you want one, or two or three....SPEAK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE.
Oh, don't worry if you miss out....I have already started turning the second batch.

Hey Tattoo - I would like to add 4 more to my original order. I would like 2 yellow backs and 2 whites with the pink stripe just like the prototype I bought from you at the show.
The original order was 2 herring blue and 2 olive back if you'd forgotten. I feel like a kid at Christmas .
Thanks again, can't wait !

Hey Tattoo! They look very nice. Why 20 bucks a pop? That's pretty steep.

Is there a guaruntee they will catch ;-) the darters i am using now altho not thru wired catch very well for me and $7 more for them sounds a bit much, I love the habs finish, and his needles have proved themselves time and again but swallowing a $20 jsut seems a tough for me rite now, free samples for testing purposes are welcome tho !!

Charlie,
Take a traditional Habs quality plug, add a space age rock hard clear coat, and custom pearlecent paint job.
Some people will buy them, some people won't. There is room for everybody.

How about more info on the plug. What is the weight? Looks like a diver? Sorry for all the questions, I haven't seen one yet.

3oz Darter.
Hard to say exactly how deep it goes. In the rips they were tested in it was hard to see. 5-7 feet would be a good guess.
