I snapped off a brand new Yozuri pencil 4 or 5 years ago in the canal. It was only out maybe 50' ( I nested one of my newells). Another regular says to me,"it isn't that far, you can probably get it". I looked at him and said " Nope, not me. But if you want it go for it" Needless to say he didn't go swimming either.
