Redbull is key, I can go indefinately with a good supply. I do find I fish harder when im pulling an allniter, but if i am pulling an all niter there is usally a good reason for it, either im far from home or I know there will be large in the vacinity.

when I lived in CT. I would drive an good hour to fish in R.I. fish all night then drive home, hated the drive home it was dangerious sometimes,so I moved to R.I. now even if I do fish all night which is not always needed once you learn the tides at the spots you like to fish. The drive home is much easier when you live close to where you fish.

Fish all night, it is the ride home that kills me too. Firm believer in the red bull too. Drive anywhere from 2-3 hours each way just to fish but it's worth it seeing that sunrise on the water.

basically everynight out this year was an all-nighter, in the fall it was almost 2 nights in a row w/out sleep. i'm not driving 2 hrs round trip for a skunking. i drink the big SoBe Adrenaline and also NOS. that %$%$%$%$ is like crack, gets you almost too amped up at times. a 10 minute "doze-off" goes a long ways too...
this year i'm gonna try to fish smarter. last year i would fish for 16 hrs at a time and completely wear myself out. i feel like i missed out on some good windows of opportunities because i was so exhausted from fishing balls out all the time. sometimes I would start out around 2pm and fish all afternoon and throughout the night, but be too tired to make it to dawn, probably the most productive time during the fall run.
