Actually Larry,
I think he won national league mvp when he was in Pitsburg 1 or 2 times.
He left a small market team who no longer could afford him, for the big $$$ in San. Fran.
But he was a great player for pitsburg. though a LOT smaller and had a lot of speed.
The guy has Allways been a jerk !!!
It should be funny to seen how much he shrinks a few years from now after he retires and is no longer on the juice!!!

He blew in the post season for the Pirates...that I am sure of and the most homers he ever hit for them in a single season was 34. He had 2 MVP's with them. But how many players hit their prime at 37??????

Almost time to get our fish on!!!
