Rumor has it that if a person interested in the Striper Cup was at the MSBA Expo they might just be amongst the first to what is up.....

MSBA Expo...where the MA fishing season kicks off

Talked to one of the guys on the staff last sunday at Hartford, from what he told me about format, fees and prizes it looks to be very good. There are some really good prizes, I know I will be taking part in it.

Krispy,

Nothing is written in ink just yet, but he said basically they are trying to bring back the old schafer tournament ,only Harpoon is a sponsor, something like 40 bucks a head if your fishing for yourself, 30 or 35 if your in a club, two fish a month per person they must be over 30 pounds. A whaler or grady white and he said something about a range rover too as a prize.... but nothing is for certain right now.. I guess we will have to wait until May, I will see some of the staff today, I will try to get more info for you guys.
