Not only did his team-mates carry him off the Court...so did the opposing team.

Saw it on the news this morning....the place went absolutely nuts. It was also nice to see all the kids that played in the game actually appreciate what they had just been a part of.

Great story TDF, thanks. There is alot of good news out there. Unsung heros doing things everday, people helping others, and alot more happy things than unhappy.Unfortunatly the media has tried to appeal to our lower human nature knowing we are curious and more likely to read the crap stuff.
I no longer listen to the 11pm news preferring to go to bed lauhging at
Sienfeld and Raymond rather than feeling negative. There's nothing you can do about 99% of the crap they air anyway.

I was watching that on ESPN yesterday as well. Great story. Almost brings a tear of joy to your eye.

Thumbs up

I saw those highlights, too. That kid could not miss!! His shots were unbelievably long swishes!! Awesome!

Thumbs up Justplugit is right

the news i sometimes call...."the Death show"... because it's all about who crashed here, died there...who is about to die..(as in trapped miners)who wasn't executed or who was....screw that ...
why program yourself to think of all that morbid stuff just before bedtime. it'll get into your dreams,,,

yeah a wicked feel good story....helps to restore your faith.
thanks tdf
