Mac an Steve turnin last yr was worth the price of admission.
I bet it was a bit of a pain in the butt especially breakin down an settin up an being locked in the fishbowl.I hate workin like that myself.I'm sure they pay others to do demonstrations or talks that are only one hr. long. These guys go all day.so 8 times what that Crazy guy gets would be a fair price.Call up Jet an see if they will do a sponsorship.U would be surprised. How many lathes do u think they sold on the east coast in the last 3 yrs. What about vega.slapp a banner up get a grand..I hope they do it this yr.It was the place to be..

heard speaker's get $250.00 for flapin their lip's for 2 hours....Mac,bruce and I spent well over 38 hours combined intertaining the crowd along with setting up and breaking down the equipment, with help from their crew of course[txs guy's]...it was standing room only at time's it got so crowded,,plug hardware vendor's wanted to be in the same room they saw so many people......it went very well with no problems.......we did it for FREE and were glad to do it ONCE.

BOAT fish do count.

I certainly don't think 250 each is out of order.at least u would get some spending cash.wether or not those guys are there will probably determine if I make the drive or not.I can basically get the same thing at the risa show an save some time drivin.we have a few good shows down here by me.I really don't need any tackle.I come for the good time. That booth was a great meating place I sat an talked with Paul an Taggers old friend I forget his name the canal guru. That was priceless.

Yes last year was a great time and hopefully we helped some people in learning what goes into making a wooden lure. The volunteers did a good job helping with set up and break down and that was appreciated. Would I do it again for nothing...no. It cost me 35 bux for gas alone the 2 days. It had to cost CS atleast 60. This year it is closer for me but CS would spend 80+ on fuel alone. That's a lot of money for just a thank you. The other thing people don't see after you load up the truck to head home is the time involved putting the shop back into workable shape again. I have no regrets with doing the show last year and was happy to do it. It makes me feel good helping people, especially people interested in our passion of chasing fish.
