"Our mediocre attitude of not confronting Islamic forces of bigotry and hatred wherever they raised their ugly head in the last 30 years, has empowered and strengthened our enemy to launch a full scale attack on the very freedoms we cherish in their effort to impose their values and way of life on our civilization."
Ironic, considering the wars we wage and the causes we fund...
I agree with Mike; if she is correct that there will be an inevitable, larger conflict, it probably won't be very much fun for us or them. Now, we KNOW dropping anything nuclear won't be healthy for us, nevermind them, so that's not really a realistic option. Unless you simply kill them all, the others are going to want revenge. Basically it's a vicious circle if you ask me. Kill one and piss of ten others. It's more complex then that, but at the end of the day that's how I view the math. How many kids in Iraq are pissed because a US bomb killed their Mom? Probably more then a few. That's why I feel a solution CAN'T be completely or even predominantly military in nature. Many who she accuses of being "ignorant" are probably just realists.
