Not sure the number but i use a big one.the #'s are confusing.I'm pretty sure I use the 34 small one's an 35's the 150lbers.I primarily use the big one an i take my round plug pliers an very gentily round out the bottons some.I try to stay away from the ones wit a sharp bend on the bottom as they will effect the action on a plug.Never had one o those fail.

Coastlocks are much better then Duolocks for security, although many like the Duolock because the shape is supposed to allow the plug to move better.

I've only fished R34 Rosco Coastlocks in the surf since they've been showed to me. Like NIB, I've never had one fail.

The R33 would make me nervous with big plugs in the surf, and an R32 which I guess is the 50# rated one you have I'd be scared to use on schoolies.
