Rosco Coast Lock Question

Not sure of the numbers but I use 150# ones on the 10' and 11' foot rods and 75# ones on the 9'.

Thanks guys, that's pretty much what I thought. I'll use the 75's for schoolies and when I know I'm only gonna use bombers and the 50's will go into a drawer. I'll have to pick up some of the bigger ones.

#32- light tackle! ,normally freshwater, very light plugs and metals up to maybe 1 oz, rated at 50#, but looks much lighter IMO
#33-bombers, small plugs,metals up to maybe 2 oz max,still a very light wire.
#34- nice thick wire, all around striper fishing, u can attach just about any plug to this snap, and it will handle big jigs and metals this is the one I use the most, tests at #150, more than you need
#35-very large & , very heavy at 200# test, I use this one for Tuna jigs, as heavy as you would ever want to go for stripers IMO
#36- at #250 lb test and very large, I would save this one for Cod Jigs up to 24+ oz, no problem

Ok I went an looked.I only use the 34's for bombers.Everything else 35.There are some lures like bottle plugs that can be tough to get em on.The won't go on,or work that well wit some tin squids either.An the ringeye on my 9/0 jig hooks they won't go around these also.so i use three different clips.I like the breakaway clip for jigs.I like the big dou-lock that I bend the tab over on some things. an the coast locks on others. I only buy rosco an I check em out, sometimes the wire is different.i look for the heavier stuff an buy em up.Too some this may be overkill to me it's just fine tunin.
