The sky is falling... I sure hope the Pats have a master plan? We have lost a lot of players and just signed a 4th or 5th reciver.
Adam is a great clutch kicker inside the 40 I can recall a few times when the Pats did not go for the long FG, could be Bill had no confiadence in Adam's leg? Also the short kickoff's were a killer.
I still hate to see him go.

He's a kicker and can be replaced. The pats probably knew that he was looking for the money and that some other team would have been willing to add a couple hundred thousand to whatever they offered so they didn't bother. Plus, he's getting older, not younger. They probably saw some other issues with his game that we don't see also.

Givens is a number 2 receiver who got number 1 receiver money, what where the pats supposed to do. If they had given givens that kind of money, what would they have to give branch next year.
