I have 2 146's and 3 converted 140's to 146, Tey make great Fluke reels I love them!!
Parts all over the place!! Only difference is the sprader bars and spool from 140 & 146

Most any tackle shop have parts, if not can tell you were3 to get them!!

This site has all the parts but more important you can download any reels Diagram!! For free!

Thumbs up

If you got one with the maroon bakelite spool with fins inside, you won't need to mag it . You really don't need to mag any of them! Congrats on your score!

If u have trouble takin the cover off u gonna love putting it back together. That Is if ur takin the guts apart to get to the drag.I haven't done it in a while but it involves turning that big solid C looking piece over the the little gear thing while it hold the springs down. Its really not difficult if u know the procedure.U can really struggle with it if not.
