Killlington to RISSA
What's the best way to get from Killington, VT to Providence for the Rhody show? I can do Maptech but that is not always the fastest/easiest route just what the unknowing computer adds up.

89 to 93 thru Boston to 95 if you're travelling off rush hour
if not take either the 128 loop or 495 loop, they both add miles

When I was a kid we always went from our camp in Sutton MA to my greataunts in Cranston on 146, always the hottest day of the year and the day we could'nt go swimming all day.
Thanks guys I should be down on Sunday, can't go before cause we have open house for prospective students here at Green Mountain College on Saturday.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

From Killington its a straight shot down Rte100 to 91, getting over to 89 will add a lot of time to the trip, no good west/east roads up there. So coming down 91 to the MA pike and then east to 146 should make it a lot quicker.

......first Ive heard about Rte 100 being a straight shot to 91.....far as I know its 100 South to Ludlow where he switches onto 103 South till Rockingham and gets 91, then South to either Greenfield Mass and tre 2 East or to the Springfield area and the Pike.
Fisher, if it helps choosing at all.....I've planned all along on taking rte 2 east to 140 South then at Worcester picking up 146 to Providence.

VT I live right near Rt 2 . But have lived right near Worcester all my life. If you plan on going towards 140 just continue on 2 to 190 to Worcester. 140 is a 2 lane back road that will just bring you back to 190 in Sterling not Worcester. There is no point in getting off 2.

I travel to Brattleboro quite often, fastest way is mass pike 90-146, others maybe shorter in milage but low speed limits + red lights hamper them, I would say take the shortest route to the pike and take 146 down

I agree with tynan19 if you're taking RT2. I really think that way would be the shortest and it's fast. Only one slow stretch (50) for about 15 miles.

Just don't go on 140. It is 2 E to 190 to 290 to 146.
