...OK....to add to the grief

I was in Newport again today (on business )...I spoke with a local charter boat captain.

....Bloo: "How's the fishing been?"

...Captain: "Terrible!!"

...We spoke for awhile...and he ended up telling me that if the fish aren't hanging around Brenton's Reef...they're far and few. He says he spends most of the charter searching as opposed to fishing and when he finds some, there aren't many...and NO size to em'. He's also switched to Fluke on the "slow" days...and says thats not great either. He agreed with me when I said that I was concerned with the absence of bait that should be schooling around the area.. (where are they?)....He said now wasn't a good time to take a charter with him... (I wasn't looking for one, but I didn't tell him that)...it was nice of him being honest with me. He went on to say that his collegues are "killing" them at Montauk. So maybe things will heat up...sooner or later

Preferrably sooner than later...

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots
