Yeah, my dad lives in PA and has been coming up here to fish once, sometimes twice per year since 2001. And this is the third year in a row we have met in FL for a fishing trip.
Its been great and we've gotten really close.
Can't think of any better quality time. I feel really fortunate that we are both in a position to do that
If I get my debt paid off this year like I should, we may try some bahamian bonefishing next spring. My uncle did a trip this year and they had bad winds too. It limited 3 guys to catching only 15 bonefish per day... each. All on flies.

JR, why do you think I started going with my dad... got tired of Karen catching the lunker each trip. I know she'll be the one to get the tarpon if we get down there together. I wish we could get out together, but for obvious reasons, we rarely do.
I think I'm going to shoot over for a bit, so I'll see Gwen.
Yeah, once things get started, we should switch trips... you come up here, I'll come down there. Its ridiculous that we don't get out.

we actually are re-upping the nantucket trip in sept... we haven't gone since pre-twinners. probably shouldn't $$-wise, but sometimes you just have to say ya need it and the heck with it
hopefully we'll get good weather and I can get on those flats
