what's a j-plug?  i've seen them around. just assumed it was some kind of off shore plug.

Designed for Salmon trolling but I have heard of some sharpies working the surf with them.

Where did you find it? CMS in New Bedford sells that model and the C-Hunk skippers love that color.

Yep. First saw one of many in the milkcrates of plugs aboard Capt. Chet's Noreaster on my first pilgrammage to Cuttyhunk. Think GB had some up on the wires surronding the porches too.

Flap - found this one in the Mystic river close to the Amelia Hart Dam. It could have been dropped from a boat entering the moorings.
