Some day I will get over to see that old relic. Right out of Sutter's Mill . I enjoy old school machines. Like Lu said they don't build them like they used to. Nice heavy castings make for nice machines. I run a 1962 Hardinge tool room lathe nightly and that sucker is as good as the day it was made. BTW nice plug George. Paul

Those Hardinge lathes were the best money could buy. I worked part time years ago boring gear blanks to +.0002 -.0001 and it was a snap!
Most of the older machine were solid!!!
