Googled it: Freedictionary says that a cubic centimeter is a metric unit of volumn equal to one thousandth of a liter. If metric is that easy ,then why do I have to Google this stuff?

Metric IS that easy. It's when you have to convert from metric to our farked-up system of weights and measurements that you run into all kinds of problems
