3" white storm, 6# test.
once i get a non windy day i can easily see myself catching 100 of them. they were on the surface today..just tough to hook with the giant bow in my line caused by 25mph+ winds.

live to fish. fish to live. rod tips high.

Weather dosn't look promising either. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for next Mon. I booked a charter on Nantucket with my lady for a little in-shore LT action. The reports there are starting to come in like us with a few keepers of size (20lbs +) being reported at 2 local fish markets on Sunday. Keep us posted Christian if your arms fall off from catching to many fish! It would be nice to see a few more South Shore, MA reports here. I'm not complaining though I guess that's why we're here. Sgt Nutz, I'll keep an eye out if I get out on my friends boat. He's an oyster famer in the bay and has a 19' Carolina Skiff. We usually get out at first light or the last bit of light after work.

Too funny! I love oysters and it's nice to know someone in the biz. Especially when they are famous! Nice work Raven. I'll watch my spelling.

Weather permiting I am going to take the boat out Monday for the first time. Havnt decided on where yet. That depends on where the fish reports send me. I remember a Carolina Skiff out there last year Cappa. Was planning on walking a couple of beached down the Cape this weekend with the wife but its looking like rain. Will see.
Tried the Canal run last Sunday morning, nada. Cormerants were eating there fill though. Tried Buttermilk Bay, Agawam(behind Mike's) and the Weweantic. No luck for me.

Might have been us. There is another Carolina Skiff from Baymen Outfitters that is a charter boat and it't the same boat minus all the gizmos. Yea the weather looks really iffy this weekend! I'm getting married on Sat in Scituate and we're hoping it's nice. We have a charter booked on Nantucket for next Mon and the reports are promising for bigger fish there. I'm bringing my gear so we can do some beach casting as well. Long range forcast is scary though, cold, rain, etc. Oh well, just have to take it one day at a time. Good luck to you this weekend.

Congrats! Married Saturday and out fishing and on a charter Monday? Wow! Good luck on both ventures. Myself, we went turkey hunting in the Pokonos. Never found any birds though. Although one came out of the oven nine months later! Again, congrats and best wishes.
