I caught a nasty looking striper in Rhode Island the other day. It's skin was covered in a pink raise rash. I just grabbed my jig and popped it off.

The disease

It looks like all my catch will be released this year.Unless its a 30,40 or a 50..lol.Not that I kept a lot anyways..Usually 1 or 2 a year..But none for this year,,,
My question is: If we catch a fish that is obviously diseased should we kept to be examined???

I'm going where I'm going...

I was wondering if these fish will contaminate other fish once released?
