Question Line LBS

Just looking to get a better idea of what mono test can handle . I've been using fireline but am switching back to Mono.

So whats the largest striper you have ever caught and what was the test line you where useing ?

On mono, 37lb. on 20# Yozuri hybrid, herring chunk.

doesn't really count, boat fish........

try a spool of Power Pro. If you liked fireline you will love Power pro!

If you are using spinning I would go with 20 pound test

Biggest fish & line test

Number of 40s on live pogies with 17/20-pound; a fish above 40 on 10-pound, but these were all from a boat ... so had the upper hand in the fight ...
