Not the same ones Nebe.... I got those dark brown ones when you posted info....returned them ....the defect was at the stitching just below the knee there was 3 / 3 inch spaces open on each leg...it was double lined material here so you didn`t get wet but water ballooned up that section so when you came out of the water you were carrying a gallon or so on each leg....had to pull up on waders to get them to drain....funny and not

These are a different model....the other ones were discontinued way back. Many sizes available and enough to cover weight and height factors....

I think

Good health and family

Jim, that is exactly what I use - the Korkers Outfitter boots. I put the SS screws through both the felt bottom soles and the Aquastealth soles. They both work great. Very "sticky" on the rocks. I did the same to a pair of the Orvis Convertible wading boots as well this year.

You guys doin it with the heads down or the screws themselves down?

Was thinking about modifying my north country saco river boots (jungle boots) like this.

Screws down through the soles with the nuts cranked up tightly into the felt or Aquastealth, & the felt or Aquastealth material acts like lock washers to keep the nuts secure.

By the way, the credit to this idea goes to DZ in his old thread about how to modify regular Korkers. I just took that idea and used it on these convertible soled boots.
