What's the law in MASS? I have a license to carry in RI but not in mass. I believe I need a Mass license to carry a handgun in State. Anyone know?

I'm sorry that you were attacked by some dumb kids. It's a great relief that you didn't get hurt more than what you have described. Things definitely could have turned out for the worst.
I think this has been covered in another post but wasn't the concensus that the canal and areas managed under the US Army Corps of Engineers considered Federal property? I definitely know the areas around the MMA is restricted so don't even try it. I do support CCW but don't want to see anyone made into more fuel for the anti's when it comes to 'potentially restricted' areas.
Don't ask-don't tell works, but there might be that time when you're reaching for the pliers and you find yourself exposing. I'd think twice about it myself and would hate for anyone to be made an example of.
Does anyone have the 'real' information about this?

I am in just the opposite scenario. I have one in MA. but not RI. I believe you can apply for a non resident permit for MA without a lot of problems since you have one in RI. It will cost you 100 bux for it and will have to be renewed every year I believe. FWW can probably elaborate on this better than I. My permit went from 25 to 100 but is good for 6 years now.
