Here's the plugs ... He's says it swims .. so no copying ok This ones plastic ... all his stuff was plastic . I did make a comment the hooks were small .. A decent bass would straighten almost everything he had ... better off with a flyrod ..

Yes it's from France
I maybe am the guy who posts from time to time (usually around my holiday in RI...), but I'm not the builder of that plug.
I can give you the specs though :
name of the lure is Mister Joe or Mister Tropic or Mister 100, depending on the size.
Builder is Eric Le Guyader, a Breton guy like me, who spends some of his time as a professional fisherman, another part as an adviser for tacklemakers, etc...
His lures are moulded, weighted, and very popular in the world of spinning for big fish (GTs and so...)
You can see them on http://orionlure.free.fr/
I will add that I'm very successful with his lures when fishing for Atlantic Sea Bass, and stripers also seemed to like the "Mister" serie...
Last year, my "to go" lure was a white "hot dog 160", very similar to the Tattoo Sea Pup (when september comes ...)
I join an old picture from august 2004...

Yes it Swims !
It's a slow sinker, but from my own experience you mustn't just reel it in, you have to work it with long quick jerks to give it a nice weird swim : one jerk it will go up, or down, or riht, or left....
Very surprising but it works !!!

Tagger :
All these lures, though moulded, are hand made and hand painted... Hand signed too !
That's why they're hot, when Eric is somewhere around the world fieldtesting them against monsters !!!
I heard that is new line of products is in the 6 oz area, for BIG GT's...
