A) What time do you usually hit the water? as early as I can whenever I can

B) How long do you normally stay out? As long as I can. Average 3-5hrs

Does tide and/or moon stage determine the above?nope.. but i think it helps.

I pretty much fish tides above all else, moons if I have to pick a marathon week in a month.

When the fishings good I put in the time and then when it slows take a break and get the gear ready for the next push.

I almost never have fished tides "just to fish." If I lived closer and could put in an hr or so every night to watch the fish move I would, but being limited to fishing a 5-7 day stretch (when I was living in MA!) I would always stick to what I knew would produce.

I mainly fish the tides at night, usually stay out 3-4 hours, unless I get a hit on my last cast(usually happens) then I'm there another 3-4 hours.
