SM & JohnR, was glad to have you guys aboard the Alternative, we had a blast. Was great to finally get together and do some fishing like old times. We really enjoyed it!!!
Like SM said if he had been a little lax it would have been bye, bye rod & reel. It was too dam funny but he did hook up and land that little bugger.
JohnR was doing pretty good with a little secret popper we had him put on early, had a few doubles also and BC was doing good on top. But for the life of me I just couldn't get a fish to the boat, then I get chopped off as we approached a huge school of fish that not too many boats were on yet, well by the time I rerigged it was too late!!!
The only bass I got into the boat (NOT) was standing on a dock jiggin herring and hooked up on the sabiki rig. SM wouldn't let that one count because I wasn't in the boat. LMAO
But I think we need to give him a little instruction on jiggin bait, and talk about not being able to empty the bladder on the boat, yes he's one shy fellow. LOL
But we did have a great day, have known these to fellows for quite some time and they are the best. Hope to do it again soon guys, thanks for the great day!!!
