Dave- I will. I guess I should have looked at the forecast before putting my foot in my mouth! NW gusting to 25 isn't exactly great Bay conditions, is it? Although the late afternoon should be better, that NW wind tends to drop of in the afternoon. I have the weekend off, I'll try you on 68.

Hooper - I fished in CCB yesterday (wed). Launched at east end canal ~5am and slowly worked our way down to Billingsgate area. Found fish close to shoreline all the way down with some larger ones on some various shoals.

Hooper - I'd stick to your original plan and stay in that area. It produced well yesterday and this past weekend. Last 2 hours of dropping and first two of incoming seem to best.

This area is loaded with sand eels. It was FAC yesterday morning (blew a little in afternoon) and you could clearly see stripers and blues working pods of sand eels. Just draw a triangle from barnstable harbor, billingsgate and rock harbor. Thats the area to concentrate on.

One of many from yesterday.....

Capt Cupcake - I'll be out in the same area saturday also. probably launch out of east end again.

You guys are killing me with these reports. I am still trying to finish up my new steering and fishfinder installations. Has not been easy with the weather and family obligations. Missed all the mack action and looks like I won't be done by this weekend either. Might have to venture out to Barnstable in the tin boat again. Oh well could be worse. Good luck. P.

Just outside Barnstable Harbor was a blast yesterday. We hit it at an hour before low and then again at high tide. Although it was a total twinkie fest (fish up to 26"), it was non stop. Only a handful of boats out working the birds/fish, most were fly fishing. We stayed clear and were rewarded. First time ever fishing that area.
