I havent done that too often for salt water - been fortunate

However - years ago I had this small cotton cordell chartruse crankbait.... This thing was absolutely magical. It did not matter how asleep the fish were, or what we were using as bait. I put this thing on and watch out.

I went thru MANY a crazy expirience pl#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g that thing out of brush piles, trees, weeds, rocks... I didnt care how muddy/nasty the water was... I simply would not lose this plug - it wasnt an option..

Then I took it to Canada with me on a Northern Pike fishing trip like 6 hours north of montreal and lost it to some sort of monster.

It was a fitting end.
