Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

Christian,

You know I'm a fan of your plug work. Use this time to think up some SICK designs and colors that will slay the LARGE

Godspeed for a speedy recovery

This is not the news I wanted to come back to! Dude, I hope you feel better soon. We will fish it hard as soon as you are ready.

Christian,

I know we have never met face to face but we have exchanged a couple emails over the years. You might not know it but I have a couple plugs you made. One is a oliveish green pencil-slider kind of thing about 3 oz. It has been in my plano box in my truck for a couple years. 4 or 5 days ago before this heavy rain I was at the rip at daybreak and it was weedy, swimmers were not working. I needed a surface plug, looked at this and said, well I have only fished this once before and I won this in a sb.com plug raffle. Second cast....19#er on the bogo. Nothing like bass on the surface at daybreak. Thanks for that memory...

Hope you feel better.

Jim

Christian, get well soon. I suspected from your dad's post it migtht be mono, but hey, you know what it is now and probably how to treat it. The good news my doc told me when I had it is once you've had it typically you don't ever get it again. I was thinking about you last week when I was up at the Cape. Had a strong onshore breeze and I decided to finally use that black pencil you sent me a couple years back. It's the balls, man! I didn't catch anything, but I was outcasting the guys around me by 30-40 yards, easy. Like the other said, give yourself time to heal and rest and protect that spleen.

Fishing is a... discipline in the equality of men - for all men are equal before fish. ~Herbert Hoover
