Eben, you can get serious with that boat, the Clam Handle on the console is there for a reason//////. I'm sure you'll have her up tight in no time ..

Yamaha 90 imo.

Little more reliable than the hondas in my experience if maintained.

I just picked up a DF70 Suzuki pushing an 18' bay boat. Absolutly love the motor...Keep thinking it stalls at idle. Filled up two weeks ago (3 trips a week) and the gas needle barely has moved.

The dealership stocks Yamaha/Suzuki/Honda motors so I asked what was the prefered motor you are putting on boats. His response was, "the mechanics love the suzuki's because they are never in the shop for major repairs." I think they push a little less torque than yammi or honda but they are also the best price out of the three. That being said a 90-115 (same block) would suit you just fine AND you can't beat their warranty...(5 years) or three year with some sort of rebate.

Thats just my experience though... in no way have I earned a respected opinion yet
