This pic gives you a good idea on the girth of the fish. I also want to add anyone getting a large on BI good luck geetting your fish weighed at BI fish works. What a joke, no one ever there, never returns calls F them. John at Twin Maples is a great guy, he'll open the shop for ya, weigh your fish, take some pics for ya, I think the guy from the local paper came by too. Any way the fish lost a good deal of weight by drying up (no cooler and no ice, fish was left in the open) between being caught at 11:15 pm and getting to an official OTW weigh station at 10:20 am. I left my scale in the truck so when I weighed it an hour or two later it was between 44-45, weighed 43.4 at Twin Maples at 7:00 am and was down to 42.83 when weighed at an official station on the mainland at around 10:20. Thinking of calling OTW and telling them to make John at Twin Maples the weigh station.
