This pic gives you a good idea on the girth of the fish. I also want to add anyone getting a large on BI good luck geetting your fish weighed at BI fish works. What a joke, no one ever there, never returns calls F them. John at Twin Maples is a great guy, he'll open the shop for ya, weigh your fish, take some pics for ya, I think the guy from the local paper came by too. Any way the fish lost a good deal of weight by drying up (no cooler and no ice, fish was left in the open) between being caught at 11:15 pm and getting to an official OTW weigh station at 10:20 am. I left my scale in the truck so when I weighed it an hour or two later it was between 44-45, weighed 43.4 at Twin Maples at 7:00 am and was down to 42.83 when weighed at an official station on the mainland at around 10:20. Thinking of calling OTW and telling them to make John at Twin Maples the weigh station.

Dave,
Congratulations on a fine catch! As one of the most dedicated anglers I have come to meet over the years you surely deserve it.
Nice plug by the way
If you have any other pictures send them in for the photo of the month contest. Our winner last month was Wally Guven from long Island, NY. He was awarded a 2006 model-small surf bag TALL for his submission....not bad for a picture.
Congrats again!!
Kadir
