I got back from a party in Newton around 7:00 and decided to head to the water for a few hours. Second cast - nice fish. Third cast - a bump. Fourth cast - the sky lit up. I didn't take another cast. I couldn't tell where the lightening was, but I didn't like it.

Looking at the radar right now... I may head back out.

I went out and.Stayed close to home in case I wanted to throw in the towel because of weather. My ability to repel fish is becoming legendary.
Gonna head out for this morning's outgoing and scare away some more fish.Well of course except for the little 1-2lb bloos.

Got caught a mile from the truck down the side of a cliff in a torrential downpour last night. You can say what you want about Grunden Commercial gear being heavy, hot, etc. When it's pouring cats and dogs there is no better for staying dry. Had breathables and a Grunden Schooner anorak top. Dry as a bone. No decent fish though.

No boat, back in the suds.

Fished locally (upper cape), 10-2, it was nice, no rain, no crowd, one fish @20#, otherwise slow.
