If by us you mean SE Mass, don't lose any sleep over it. Their long range missile might be able to reach the western states---but if it was targeted on downtown LA, it would be more likely to detonate over the Pacific or over the Mojave Desert.
In response, one Ohio class boomer has the capacity to wipe North Korea off the map, with the accuracy to put one in the Dear Leader's shorts while he's sitting on his toilet taking a dump. |

Hey, The USS Iowa has already done her duty  WW2, Korea and the Cold War...I just hope she can be turned into a museum and not be scrapped.
As for the future, my company is having a large role in the design of the next generation boats

In more ways than one. Four of the Trident carrying Ohio class ballistic missile submarines are in the process of or funded for, conversion from a SSBN to a SSGN - basically changin out 20 ballisitc nuke tubes for up to 154 tomahawks. I think one is already finished
Hmmm 154 tomahawks, that would ruin Kim's day with out going Day Glo.... |
