Tons of them along the beaches on Long Island. I'd see them all the time on the access roads driving in.

ive seen seagulls stalk rabbits and then when tehy werent looking fly away with the rabbit for lunch .

Yep - and it was right along the shore (poor rabbit), and Denture Man tried to take out the gull but the gull was able to get enough lift to fly over the cliff.... Anyone remember of the rabbit squealed  ?

Skunks, rabbits and seagulls ...
I definitely think the rabbits are good luck ... most of the time -- except if you were that little rabbit that got plucked by the crazy gull, as its luck really stunk, despite the valiant efforts of members from our group to chase the gull away -- but after that rabbit got eaten by the gull, I think I went out and caught a few fish, nothing huge but still got some ...
